About Us

We are Lucy and Richard, and we love dogs!

 

We decided to open up our field as a private hire dog park after our own experiences with Pedro in shared spaces. He was a little nervous around some dogs (whilst absolutely loving others!) and we noticed that some of the other dogs in the public park also suffered with anxiety in certain situations. Seeing Pedro so much happier and relaxed in his own field made us realise that other dogs would benefit from this too. Having owned numerous dogs over the years, and drawing from Lucy’s experience as a former professional dog walker, we think we have managed to create a lovely safe space for you and your pups to enjoy!

Meet the boss!

We couldn’t have Pedro’s Patch without the main boy himself! Pedro is a 10 years young red Border Collie. As well as supervising his owners in all aspects of his patch, he also works security, frantically wagging his tail at anything he sees coming on to the property, real or imaginary!

He enjoys using the adjoining field as his personal ball chasing area and is a very good boy 🙂

Likes: Balls, food, potentially life threatening equipment (lawn mowers, chainsaws etc)

Dislikes: Bin bags, unexpected noises, anything that isn’t food, balls, or deadly machinery 😀

Our amenity provides you and your dogs with a secure and peaceful expanse spanning nearly 2 acres, free from the presence of other dogs or individuals. The enclosed space is enveloped by a robust 5ft fence, ensuring optimal safety.
